Speech 1321 flex study - computer enhanced

This course is independent study.  You will come to campus 4 times in the course of the semester. The dates are posted in the course schedule. Mandatory orientation will take place on-line in Web CT during the first week of classes. Class meetings are to perform your speeches.  Attendance is required for all class meetings.  You will present a total of 5 speeches, 2 will be done at the last meeting.  One speech is a group presentation that is organized through chat, e-mail, discussion and some out of class meetings. This course has no lecture, so you learn from the textbook.  You will take tests on-line, conduct chats and do a resume packet.  The required textbook is Communicating at Work, 9th edition.  Books can be purchased through the Kingwood College Bookstore. To access your web ct classroom, go to the nhmccd.edu main page and click on e-classroom.  You will be able to access this site on the first day of class.
